Paragon Structural Engineering, LTD. offers a full range of structural engineering inspection services to builders, contractors, and owners for new and existing construction for a variety of project types, including residential and light commercial construction, pools, and retaining walls. NEW CONSTRUCTION The state of Texas and its municipalities require certain aspects of construction to be designed by a registered, licensed professional engineer to protect the general public and ensure minimum performance standards. Obtaining plans and specifications from a licensed professional is meaningless if the design professional is not retained to perform construction phase observations to verify compliance with the plans and specifications. PSE can provide construction-phase inspection services throughout the entire project to ensure clients’ projects are built in accordance with engineered plans and specifications. EXISTING CONSTRUCTION In addition to performing new construction inspections, PSE also evaluates existing construction to investigate and diagnose potential structural issues. Further, PSE can provide guidance and design specifications for renovation projects. Prior to enlisting the services of a foundation repair company, it is our opinion, the foundation should be evaluated by an independent professional engineer who has the training and experience necessary to diagnose foundation issues and determine when differential foundation movement is severe enough to warrant repairs. Repairing drywall cracks and masonry veneer cracks without first determining the cause of the cracking will only hide the problem, not solve it. Paragon Structural Engineering, LTD. strives to be an industry leader in structural inspections by providing the client with unsurpassed service at market-level prices. PSE offers prompt and courteous service to meet all structural engineering inspection needs. PSE inspectors are either certified, or are in the process of being certified as a PTI Post-Tensioning Inspector – Level 2 and an ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I. PSE representatives care about quality and inspect each project as if it was their own. PSE provides high quality reports containing clear and concise opinions, along with general information that will aid in understanding the issue in question. An engineer is always available to answer any questions the client may have after reviewing the report. Inspections provide an affordable means to protect the client’s investment by ensuring the project is constructed in accordance with engineered plans and specifications.
